Watersports

Family & Extreme Watersports

1. All watersports activities are at the customers own risk

2. It is essential that customers have the correct travel insurance to partake in any watersports activities.

3. Koh Samui Watersports hold no responsibility if customers injure themselves whilst partaking in family or extreme watersports.

4. Customers must read the declaration before signing to partake in any of the activities.

5. Signing the declaration deems that the customer has a full understanding of the risks associated with family and extreme watersports

6. Damage to equipment by customers during the activity will result in costs.

7. Under 18years must have permission from an adult who will sign the declaration on their behalf

8. Koh Samui Watersports provide lifejackets for all ages, customers must not undo or remove their lifejackets under any circumstances

9. Inflatable Water Park - Do not put your children on the inflatable and leave the area. It is the responsibility of the parents to remain around the Water Park. Koh Samui Watersports have lifeguards on the beach but they are not there to supervise unaccompanied children.

10. Adults will be expected to leave their name and a contact number, if we can not contact or see the adult the child will be taken off the water park to the watersports station until an adult can be located.

Jetski Tours

1. All Jetski Tours are at the customers own risk

2. It is essential that customers have the correct travel insurance to partake in Jetski Tours to local Islands.

3. Customers must read the declaration before signing to partake in the Jetski Tours.

4. Signing the declaration deems that the customer has a full understanding of the risks associated with partaking in a Jetski Tour.

5. Damage to equipment by customers during the activity will result in costs.

6. Under 18years must have permission from an adult who will sign the declaration on their behalf

7. Koh Samui Watersports provide lifejackets, customers must not undo or remove their lifejackets under any circumstances whilst on the water .

8. Koh Samui watersports hold no responsibility for any personal items, including cameras and phones

9. Waterproof bags are provided and throughout the tour they are the customers responsibility. Loss of waterproof bag - 1,000 baht

10. Distance when driving a Jetski is 100 meters away from any other Jetski or craft and 300 meters away from the beaches.

11. Any damage to the Jetski will incur a cost of:

a) overturned or capsized Jetski - 30,000 baht

b) damaged collision - 50,000 baht

c) lost key - Yamaha 1,000 baht Seadoo 4,000 baht

d) loss of revenue daily cost - 3,000 baht up to 15,000 baht after which the insurance will cover the remaining costs.

12. Wildlife - Please read below the section for wildlife

Wildlife & Ocean Life

The animals you encounter such as the pigs are not domestic pets they are wildlife who roam freely and have done for many years without incident.
DO NOT pick up and cuddle the baby pigs, their mothers may become aggressive if they feel the piglets are being threatened.
Children must be supervised by their accompanying adult both in the water and on the islands at all times.
The wildlife do not usually become aggressive unless they feel threatened. Thousands of tourists visit the islands every year without any incidents.
Snorkelling - DO NOT interfere with the coral, it is impossible for us to know exactly what marine life is below the water at all times but we do our best to be as informative as possible.
DO NOT touch the marine life they are not pets.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure that they are competent under and on the water and that they can swim.
Children must not be left alone in the water at any time, it is the responsibility of the adult with them to supervise their children.
Koh Samui Watersports provide snorkelling equipment and it is the responsibility of the customer to return the equipment. Damaged equipment will incur costs.
It is advisable to wear water shoes especially when snorkelling but that is the customers choice.
Koh Samui Watersports do not provide any insurance cover for incidents with the wildlife
